Bruna Rosso
Updated: September 11, 2026
Bruna Rosso is an Italian multi-brand luxury retailer based in Cuneo, tracing back to a household linen business from the 1940s before the online store launched in 2006. The group now runs five boutiques across Cuneo, Saluzzo and Limone Piemonte and sells clothing, shoes and accessories from more than 250 international designers, with the online catalogue leaning heavily on footwear from labels such as Valentino Garavani, Saint Laurent, Gucci, Moncler, Miu Miu, Jimmy Choo and Tod’s. The storefront is a custom build on Vue and Nuxt rather than a templated platform.
Website Design
A black and white system. The interface runs on near-black primary and secondary tones against a white ground, with the wordmark set in Oswald, a bold condensed sans that gives the logo and section headers a stamped, poster-like weight.
A cracked-earth photograph as a recurring divider. A wide terracotta stone texture runs as a full-width band above the footer on the homepage, category and cart pages, the one consistent piece of imagery outside the product photography itself.
Dense, price-forward grids. Category pages use a four-column grid of plain product shots, each captioned with the designer name, product line and price in euros, with no lifestyle photography breaking up the layout.
Shopping Experience
A straightforward product page. Each listing shows one image, a size dropdown and an ADD TO CART button, with size guide, delivery and return, and contact links set below and a You Also Like carousel of related pieces underneath.
A black cart summary panel. The cart lists item, size and quantity on the left with a black Subtotal, Shipping and Total panel on the right, a coupon field, and free shipping already applied at the items and price point shown.
Pagination over infinite scroll. Category listings paginate with a page count and a selectable items-per-page control rather than loading further products automatically.
Brand Storytelling
Physical retail is the backbone. The site links out to “Visit Bruna Rosso Luxury Shops,” pointing to five boutique locations rather than treating the web store as the only channel.
Curation from the runway down. About Us copy describes the group as “one of the main retailers of clothing, shoes and accessories of the best international designers,” sourced from collections shown in Milan and Paris.
An eight-decade span stated plainly. The same page traces the business from 1940s household linen sales in the local Italian and French market to the ecommerce launch in 2006, without dressing up the history further.
Notable Features
US privacy controls in the footer. “Notice at collection” and “Your Privacy Choices” banners sit alongside the standard EU policy links, showing the store serves California shoppers under CCPA as well as its home Italian market.
Language switcher in the header. A LANG selector sits next to login and cart icons, keeping locale controls in the same row as account functions.
Newsletter signup low on the page. Email capture sits in the footer beside the social icons rather than as a homepage popup.
