Iglucraft
Updated: September 11, 2026
Iglucraft is an Estonian manufacturer of handcrafted wooden cabins and saunas, built shingle by shingle over a curved timber frame and sold to hospitality operators, glamping sites and private homeowners across Europe and the UK. The range runs from garden Iglusaunas to multi-room Igluhut cabins and bespoke builds for offices, bars and cafes, alongside an accessories line called Iglucraft Living. The main site runs on a custom Next.js build; Iglucraft Living, the transactional store, runs on WordPress with WooCommerce.
Website Design
An earth-tone system. The colour variables define muted scales, beige, brown, green, matcha, mustard, sunset and wine, each running from a pale tint to a full tone, on an off-white f6f5f3 background with near-black body text. The effect echoes the cedar and timber of the product rather than a single brand colour.
A serif and sans pairing. Headlines are set in Garamond Premier Pro, a high-contrast serif, while interface text and labels use Gill Sans Nova. The combination reads as editorial rather than retail.
Cabins photographed as objects. Product imagery favours plain outdoor settings, water, grass or snow, that let the curved shingle roofs and round windows stand out. Interiors are shown sparingly and lean on natural light.
Shopping Experience
No cart on the main site. The Products page groups the range into four categories, Igluhuts, Iglusaunas, Bespoke Models and Iglucraft Living, each ending in a “View all” or “Explore” link rather than a price or an add to cart button. It reads as a specification and enquiry tool, not a transactional store.
Iglucraft Living carries the actual checkout. The accessories site sells sauna oils, buckets and ladles, towels, robes and sauna hats, and room fragrances across a conventional WooCommerce layout with a product grid, quantity selectors and a cart icon.
Currency and shipping are stated plainly. Iglucraft Living lets shoppers switch between GBP, EUR and USD, and states free shipping over 150 euros in the footer, next to links for returns and FAQs.
Brand Storytelling
“Take Time” is the stated thesis. Homepage copy frames the cabins as a response to always “taking care of others, connecting to others, fulfilling the needs of others,” urging the visitor to take time for themselves instead.
A first-person quote carries the craft claim. One passage reads: “It is history, it’s not just plastic, a metal roof or something made by industrial machines. It’s alive.” The copy stays personal rather than switching to marketing language.
The “Iglu” prefix runs through every product name. Igluhut, Iglusauna, Igluoffice and Iglupark, the Tallinn showroom, all share the root, keeping the naming consistent across cabins, saunas, bespoke builds and the showroom.
Notable Features
Press coverage sits inside the product pages. Logos for the Times, Dwell, the Financial Times, the Daily Mail, the Telegraph and Architectural Digest appear on the Products page, linking to coverage of Gordon Ramsay’s own Igluhut and David and Victoria Beckham’s cabin in the Cotswolds.
A physical showroom. Iglupark in Tallinn lets buyers see the shingle construction and interior finish before ordering.
Client Projects as a proof gallery. A dedicated navigation item leads to completed installations, separate from the catalogue pages.
