Last Bottle
Updated: September 11, 2026
Last Bottle Wines is a daily flash-sale wine retailer based in Napa Valley, selling limited-time offers on curated bottles at a discount from retail, running on Shopify.
Website Design
Red as the singular accent. The site runs mostly black text (#333333) on white, with a deep red (#C8102E) and a brighter red (#ed1c24) reserved for prices, sale badges and calls to action, a restrained palette built to let the wine labels supply the rest of the color.
Courier Std alongside Arapey and Roboto Condensed. A monospace typewriter face, Courier Std, appears set against the serif Arapey and the condensed sans Roboto Condensed, pairing a receipt-like, transactional texture with a more traditional wine-label serif.
Built around a single daily offer. Rather than a browsable grid, the homepage centers on the current day’s featured bottle, with supporting sections for past offers and account tools kept secondary to that one listing.
Shopping Experience
Three prices sit side by side. Each offer shows a retail price, a “Best Web” price and the Last Bottle price, letting the discount claim be checked against two reference points rather than one crossed-out figure.
A single product example makes the model concrete. A half-bottle of Champagne is listed at $25, down from a $40 retail price, the kind of steep, time-limited cut the flash-sale format is built around.
Shipping is logistics-aware, not generic. The site notes temperature-controlled warehouses in Napa Valley and St. Louis, seasonal holds on shipments to protect wine in transit, and a local pickup option through a Via.Delivery partnership, alongside standard FedEx and UPS delivery.
Free shipping applies above a minimum order. A free ground shipping threshold is stated on the site, consistent with the flash-sale model’s push toward larger single orders.
Brand Storytelling
The team is the credibility claim. The site describes itself as run by “wine drinkers, collectors, and part of the global wine trade,” and states its job as bringing “incredible juice at the best prices we can possibly obtain, every day.”
The tone stays conversational rather than formal. Copy reads closer to a wine-trade newsletter than a retail catalog, matching the daily-deal format’s urgency with an enthusiastic, first-person voice.
Notable Features
A rewards program pays out in points and referrals. Members earn points redeemable for discounts, and a referral program gives $10 per friend, both aimed at repeat purchases rather than one-off discount hunting.
A “Sell Wine” option runs opposite the storefront. Alongside buying, the site accepts wine from sellers directly, a secondary function listed in the main navigation next to Current Offers and Past Offers.
Text alerts extend the daily-deal urgency off the site. A Text Alerts signup lets shoppers get notified of new offers outside email, matching the time-limited nature of each day’s sale.
