Taylor Stitch is a San Francisco menswear brand selling shirting, knits, bottoms, outerwear and accessories under a durability pitch it states as Responsibly Built For The Long Haul. Current-season pieces run from about $128 for an oxford to $248 for a corduroy jacket, with a Last Call section for end-of-run stock. The store runs on Shopify behind a heavily customised front end.

Website Design

Near-monochrome with a navy anchor. The palette is built on greys, from a near-black promo bar through a mid charcoal for primary type to a pale grey for panels, with a deep navy as the brand colour. An olive-tan alternate and a sale orange are the only saturated tones.

Three typefaces with defined jobs. National 2 carries almost all copy, a serif face handles display moments, and IBM Plex Mono is reserved for labels, sizes and metadata. A separate display serif is used only for sale flashes.

Photography-led rows. The homepage alternates full-bleed seasonal imagery, such as the Somelos mill feature and the Fall 2026 lookbook, with a five-tile category strip and a dense arrivals grid. Each card reads as product name, the word in, then the fabric name and price.

Shopping Experience

Size and price on one line. The buy box lists every size with its chest measurement and its price, written as XS – 36 | $178, so fit, availability and cost are read in a single pass rather than across three controls.

A delivery date before checkout. A Get it by line sits under the size list with a postcode field, returning an estimated arrival date or asking for a valid code.

Detail opens as panels, not pages. Sizing, Garment Specifications, Fit Finder, Guarantee and Shipping each open an overlay. The size panel toggles between garment and body measurements and prints a chart of chest, sleeve and length.

Restock subscriptions in place of dead ends. Sold-out sizes offer a notification signup in the buy box, with an optional opt-in to general updates.

Brand Storytelling

Five pillars, stated as structure. The Responsibility page is organised into Sourcing Responsibly, Building Responsibly, Closing the Loop, Creating a Community and Giving Back, under a heading reading To Protect Wild, Forever.

Dispatch as seasonal writing. Quarterly entries are written as place pieces rather than lookbook captions, opening on a coastline or a canyon road before the collection appears.

The guarantee carries the argument. A Repair Or Replace Guarantee is linked from every product page and commits to repairing or replacing any defect outside normal wear for the life of the product, with store credit where a garment is no longer stocked.

Notable Features

A keyboard shortcut layer. A shortcuts panel maps single keys and chords to navigation: S opens search, G then H returns home, G then C opens the cart, and further pairs jump to shirts, outerwear, bottoms, denim and accessories.

The Common Club. A purchase-linked credit programme that banks value toward the next shirt, chinos, denim or outerwear order.

Support hours in the footer. Chat, text and email are listed together with staffed hours of nine to five Pacific, seven days.
