It’s particularly well-suited for dropshippers, as well as omnichannel retailers who want to connect with customers both in-store and online.

The Be Yours Shopify Theme: Overview and Pricing

The Be Yours theme is a modern Shopify theme, initially introduced by RoarTheme in 2022 (also responsible for the Concept theme).
I love the minimalist, clutter-free style of this theme, as well as how effectively it draws attention to products with high-quality images.
This theme loads quickly, and adapts to suit a range of business types, from companies with a single product, to dropshippers and beyond.
It’s also packed with great features compatible with Online Store 2.0, with more than 30 sections to customize across your store.
Like all approved themes on the Shopify Theme store, the Be Yours theme comes with an unlimited free trial when you’re getting started, and free theme updates for life.
If you want to purchase the theme, you’ll pay $320 for a one store license. Although does make the theme a little more expensive than some alternatives, you do get a lot of great features for the one-off price.
Plus, it’s worth noting you can still get free stock photos from Shopify Burst with this theme, which wouldn’t be an option with some third-party alternatives.
The Be Yours Theme Example Presets
Like most premium Shopify themes, Be Yours gives you a selection of “pre-sets” to choose from – you actually get four different options here, which is a little more than some alternatives.
Do keep in mind that if you click the “Try theme” option, you’ll automatically download the “Beauty” option, however. Contact the support team if you want to try a different preset.
The Beauty Preset

Clearly an excellent option for cosmetics companies, the Beauty preset is a modern and minimalistic theme packed with light, natural tones.
It’s a clean-looking theme with a few playful elements ideal for giving your website a unique vibe.
The Trendy Preset

A slightly more vibrant option than the Beauty preset, the Trendy preset features bolder colors and slightly larger font options.
It’s a great choice for companies who want to appeal to a younger generation of customers.
The Peace Preset

This is one of my favorite pre-sets for the Be Yours theme. I love it’s neutral color palette, brilliant for drawing attention to high-quality images on your site.
It also features a lot of soft, calming tones, typically found in nature.
The Dark Preset

Ideal for ultra-modern stores, this preset features a black background and darker tones for a more professional and sophisticated look. I think it would work well for luxury brands, or technology companies selling high-end products.
The Be Yours Shopify Theme: The Core Features
The Be Yours theme is packed with unique features intended to boost conversion rates and improve the customer experience on your Shopify store.
I actually think its built-in features make this theme excellent value for money if you want to avoid using external plug-ins and add-ons.
Cart and Checkout Features
Like most premium themes for Shopify, Be Yours comes with all the standard features you can use to enhance Shopify’s world-leading shopping cart.
I love the “Quick Buy” feature in particular, which allows customers to immediately jump to the delivery information stage of the purchasing journey, without clicking on their cart.
There’s also the “cart notes” option, which allows customers to enter specific information about their order to share with you (the merchant).
Plus, you can experiment with slide-out cart options, and a powerful sticky cart, which reduces the need to scroll too much on your store.
Other great features include a “gift wrapping” and “pre-order” option, both of which can help you boost conversions and increase engagement on your store.
Marketing and Conversion
With the Be Yours theme, you can take advantage of Shopify’s built-in blogging features, create FAQ pages, and design a customizable contact form.
There are plenty of ways to showcase promotions with banners, pop-ups, and in-menu notifications too.
You can add carousels to show customers their recently-viewed items, as well as recommended products as they browse through your store – enabling some great cross-selling opportunities.
To increase “urgency” you can also add stock timers and countdown timers to your pages, prompting customers to make faster decisions based on stock availability.
The Be Yours theme also comes with a handy “Age Verifier” overlay, for age-restricted products, and you can add product badges like “trending” or “sale” to each item.
I’m a big fan of the ability to add press coverage to product pages too, which can help to boost social proof and earn consumer trust.
Merchandising Features
Merchandising is another area where the Be Yours theme shines, in my opinion. For beauty and clothing companies, options like the “Before/After” image slider, and image rollover options make it really easy to immerse customers in the shopping experience.
You can also share plenty of valuable information, like size charts and usage information.
With slideshows and image galleries, you can showcase your products from a range of different angles. This theme even supports product videos, and image zoom options.
Plus, you can offer customers a range of product options, such as sizes, colors, and types, with a variant picker.
I think the wide range of dynamic features, like image rollover, animation, and image hotspot options, also really help to make the shopping experience feel more engaging and interactive.
Product Discovery
Navigation on a store using the Be Yours Shopify theme couldn’t be simpler. This theme comes with a wide range of interactive features, from the ever-popular mega menu that can accommodate various sections, options and categories.
You can even add images to your menu.
There’s an enhanced search function, for customers who already know what they’re looking for, and product filtering and sorting options for more granular control over the shopping experience.
Plus, you can experiment with recently viewed and recommended products in the navigation section, add sticky headers to your site, and enable infinite scroll.
Page Speed and Customer Support Tests
Since loading speed affects everything from your customer’s experience on your store, to your ability to rank on the search engines, I consider it essential to every Shopify theme.
Based on results from PageSpeed Insights, the Be Yours theme earns an impressive score of 91.
However, the mobile loading times are a little slower, with a score of around 59.
That doesn’t mean the Be Yours theme isn’t mobile responsive, however, and it’s worth noting that various factors can slow your page loading times, such as the number of images you use.
From a customer support perspective, the RoarTheme team and Shopify mostly deliver support through documentation and ticket systems.
There is a live chat option, however, it’s worth noting that it can take a while to get a response. While it took me around 30 minutes to get a response to a question through the ticketing service, I spent over an hour trying to find an available agent with the live chat function.
Merchant Reviews and My Expert Verdict
Overall, the general consensus from other Shopify merchants seems to be that the Be Yours theme is excellent. It does have a fantastic 98% positive rating on the Shopify theme store.
Although some customers mentioned the occasional bug, most say that the theme is attractive, versatile, and exceptionally feature-rich.
Personally, I agree with this verdict overall. The Be Yours theme does have a few issues here and there – specifically related to slow live chat support.
However, it’s a great minimalist theme with a lot of useful capabilities for online sellers.
If you’re looking for an attractive, high-performing theme that can really make your store stand out, the Be Yours theme could be a great option.
