Looka offers four pricing options depending on your branding needs. The Basic Logo Package costs $20 for a single PNG logo file. The Premium Logo Package is a one-time payment of $65, providing high-resolution files and full ownership.
For more comprehensive branding, the Brand Kit Subscription costs $96 per year, while the Brand Kit and Web Subscription is $129 per year, including a website with basic functionality.
For more than a decade now, I’ve devoted my career to helping companies grow, guiding them through the process of purchasing crucial technology, designing marketing campaigns, and building memorable, engaging brands.
One thing I’ve noticed many companies struggling with – is the initial stages of building a “visual brand identity.”
Creating not just an amazing logo, but all of the extra assets you need to stand out online (from a great website, to social post templates and email signatures) can be pretty complex – and expensive.
That’s where Looka comes in, offering an intuitive and affordable way to build brand assets – even if you don’t have design knowledge.
The question is – which Looka pricing plan is right for you? Can you get by with a basic logo package – or do you need something more comprehensive?
I’ve created this guide to help you decide.
How Much Does Looka Cost?

If you don’t know already, Looka is an AI-powered platform that helps companies to create attractive brand assets, from logos to letterheads, in a matter of minutes.
Check out our full Looka review here if you want to learn more about what you can do with the platform.
You can do some things on the platform for free – like designing your logo and experimenting with elements – but you do need to pay if you want to access and use your brand assets.
Notably, using Looka is a lot less expensive than investing in a professional graphic designer – at least in my experience. Still, there are cheaper options out there too.
Ultimately, there are four “pricing options” available on Looka:
- Basic Logo Package: $20 – Best for design inspiration.
- Premium Logo Package: $65 – Best for quick and affordable logo design.
- Brand Kit Subscription: $96 per year – Best for comprehensive branding assets.
- Brand Kit and Web Subscription: $129 per year – Best for small business branding and web design.
Let’s break down what you get with each package (and who each plan is best for).
Basic Logo Package: $20 (Best for Design Inspiration)

The Basic Logo package is the cheapest way to access a custom logo from Looka.
You pay a $20 one-off fee, and you get to download a single PNG file of the logo you create with the AI-powered tools. Notably, this doesn’t give you access to any of Looka’s other advanced features, like brand kits or web design tools – you just get the logo.
While paying $20 for a logo might be appealing to smaller businesses, I wouldn’t recommend using the PNG file you get on this plan as your official “brand mark”.
First, you only get a PNG file – which limits where you can use your logo.
Plus, the logo can only be 1000 x 1000 pixels in size, and it includes a colored background (no transparent options).
You don’t get “full ownership” of the logo included here either.
Who I’d Recommend the Basic Logo Package For
Ultimately, the basic logo package is a good option if you want to create a simple “mock-up” of a logo idea you have to share with a professional designer, or share with your business partners as a proof of concept. It gives you a good starting point for your logo – but that’s it.
Premium Logo Package: Best for Quick Logo Design
The Premium Logo package is the second plan from Looka that you only have to pay for once. Again, this only allows you to purchase the logo you created on the platform (not use any other tools).
With this plan, you pay a one-time fee of $65, and you can access your logo in multiple high-resolution file types.
You get PNG, EPS, SVG, and PDF versions of your logo included – which means you can use your logo across a range of digital applications.
Plus, you’ll be able to access multiple color variations, transparent backgrounds, as well as full ownership rights for your design.
That means you can legally use your logo for commercial and non-commercial purposes. Beyond that, the Premium package allows users to make unlimited post-purchase changes to their design, and access lifetime technical support.
Who I’d Recommend the Premium Logo Package For
The Premium Logo package is clearly a better option for people who want to actually use the logo they design with Looka.
With multiple high-res file types to choose from, color variations, transparent backgrounds, and full ownership, you can actually take advantage of the asset you create.
However, I’d still only recommend choosing this option if you’re only looking for a simple “starter” logo for your business.
As your company grows, you might want to consider working with a designer to create something a little more unique, or you might find yourself needing to create additional assets with your logo – which means considering a Looka monthly subscription plan.
Brand Kit Subscription: $96 yearly (Best for Comprehensive Brand Assets)

A great logo is really only the first thing you’ll need when you’re building a visual brand identity.
Once you have that, you need to start thinking about other assets, like letterhead and invoice templates, business cards, and so on. That’s where Looka’s Brand Kit subscription shines.
For $96 per year it gives you all the benefits of the Premium Logo package, as well as numerous extras.
You can use this subscription to embed your logo and brand elements into social profile pictures, social post templates, business cards, email signatures, letterheads, and invoices.
In fact, there are more than 300+ ready-to-use brand asset templates to experiment with.
Plus, you can also use Looka to create brand guideline documents, making it easier to share the elements of your visual identity with colleagues, stakeholders, and contractors.
Looka’s Brand Kit subscription also comes with more than $3,000 in exclusive offers from partners, giving you additional ways to save when you’re building your business.
Who I’d Recommend the Brand Kit Subscription For
I’d recommend choosing the brand kit subscription if you’re ready to really dive in and launch your new company.
It gives you all the resources you need to create and manage a host of visual brand assets, so you can start really developing a memorable “presence” for your company.
Ultimately, this is my favorite plan overall, because it gives you all the benefits of Looka for branding, without tying you into using the company’s website generator.
Personally, I think there are better website builders out there (like Shopify or Wix), for growing companies.
Brand Kit Web Subscription: $129 Yearly (Best for Small Business Branding and Web Design)
Finally, the Brand Kit Web subscription is the most expensive plan offered by Looka, at $129 per year.
Notably, that’s still pretty cheap when you consider everything you get. This plan comes with everything you’d get in the Brand Kit subscription – such as your premium logo files, and a huge selection of assets for visual branding.
On top of that, you also get an AI-generated website, featuring all of the logos, colors, fonts, and other elements you upload to your Looka profile.
This plan definitely gives companies one of the cheapest ways to design a brand and a strong online presence all at once.
However, it’s worth noting that the websites you can design with Looka are pretty basic – you won’t get a huge range of marketing, sales, and business management tools, like you would if you were to use something like Shopify or Squarespace.
However, you can access responsive themes, a drag-and-drop designer, and instant domain connections (domains need to be purchased separately).
Looka websites also include unlimited storage, integrated SSL security, reporting tools, and an app marketplace, with up to 50 apps to choose from.
Who I’d Recommend the Brand Kit Web Subscription For
In my opinion, the Brand Kit Web subscription is the best option for small businesses who want to create a simple, online presence, and a brand identity at the same time.
If you’re looking for an easy way to launch a website but you don’t need any advanced capabilities, like ecommerce features – then this subscription is a good pick.
Just remember you will need to pay extra to purchase a domain name, and access additional features (like ecommerce tools).
There’s an extra “Brand Kit Web” ecommerce platform that allows you to sell up to 100 products – with no transaction fees, but the pricing for this isn’t listed on Looka’s website.
I messaged the Looka chatbot to find out more – but never got a response.
Even with that plan, you’re pretty restricted by Looka’s limited ecommerce capabilities, so you’ll probably want to think about upgrading to another platform at a later stage.
Looka Pricing: Is Looka Worth It?
Ultimately, Looka offers a low-cost and convenient way for companies to create brand assets, from logos, to simple websites.
If you’re looking for nothing more than a logo, I’d definitely recommend choosing the Premium logo plan over the Basic option – as it’s the only package that gives you a wide range of logo files, variations, and full ownership of your logo.
If you’re looking for something more comprehensive, the Brand Kit subscription is a great choice for creating and using versatile brand assets.
The brand kit web subscription, on the other hand, is ideal for designing an initial website – but you will need to upgrade to the ecommerce option if you plan on actually selling anything online.
In that case, however, I’d probably recommend investing in a full ecommerce platform, like Shopify.
