20×200 sells limited edition art prints, photography and artist-made objects, and states its own position in the footer: founded in 2007, it “offers a carefully curated collection of affordable limited-edition, museum-quality prints, photography and artist-made works by emerging, established and legendary artists”. Editions start at $40 and run past $1,900 for the largest sizes, and the catalogue extends to ceramics, textiles, totes and remastered Vintage and Space Editions from historical and scientific archives. Built on Shopify.

Website Design

Orange against warm greys. A single orange carries the logo block, the Add to cart button, links and breadcrumbs. Everything else is grey text on white, with a warm off-white ground for the footer and the framing panel on the product page.

A serif for the writing, a sans for the furniture. Merriweather sets titles, artist names and the descriptive lines under each work; Libre Franklin handles navigation, filters, prices and buttons. Because the copy carries the serif, the site reads more like a publication than a shop.

The work sets the grid. Products sit three across, but each cell is sized to the proportions of the piece, so a panoramic map and a square painting share a row at different heights. Flat scans, framed shots and in-room photographs are mixed rather than separated.

Shopping Experience

Browsing on more axes than most shops. Browse By splits the catalogue by Medium, Genre, Size and Orientation, and Curated Collections splits it again by Room, Theme, Colour and Mood, with entries such as Calm and Tranquil, Dark and Mysterious or We heart NYC.

Faceted left rail with counts. Category pages state the result count, then offer availability, a price slider, product type, size, orientation, medium, genre and artist, each checkbox showing how many works it holds. A view toggle and a Bestselling sort sit above the results.

Size is the price ladder. The product page lists each dimension as its own radio row with its own price, so the buyer chooses the edition size and the cost in a single control. Low stock is stated inline against individual sizes.

Framing nested inside the size. Choosing a size opens an Add Custom Frame panel offering unframed, black floated or white floated, with a note that frame shipping is available within the United States only.

Brand Storytelling

Every tile carries writing. Grid cards show a truncated line from the artist or curator under the title, with the artist credited above the price, so the browse page is filled with sentences rather than specifications.

Research presented as product copy. Below the buy box a long artist panel explains the work and its origins, and four accordions hold Artist Statement, Why We Love It, Details and Medium.

Notable Features

Gifting treated as its own department. A Gifts menu carries a gift guide, gift cards and a Quick Ship Gifts collection for orders that need to arrive fast.

Archive editions explained before they are sold. The homepage gives Vintage and Space Editions their own panel describing how curators source and remaster the images.

Trade and framing as services. Custom Framing and Trade Program are linked from the top navigation and the footer, not buried in help pages.
