Lingua Franca

Lingua Franca was launched serendipitously when founder Rachelle Hruska MacPherson returned to her childhood hobby of embroidery. Her first creation – “booyah” stitched onto a favorite vintage cashmere sweater – incorporated timeless style with iconic hip hop, which Rachelle sees as the lingua franca of her generation. After seeing her creations on Instagram, several friends asked her to embroider sweaters for them, sparking the idea for the Lingua Franca cashmere line. Since then, the line has evolved to include sweaters for women and children, all made from the finest cashmere and hand stitched in NYC.
