LOCA Foods
Updated: September 11, 2026
LOCA Foods, Inc now trades as House Party, a US brand selling dairy free cheesy dips made from vegetables. The range is one product in two flavours, Mild Cheddar and Hot Jalapeno, sold as a single 16oz jar at $9.75, a two pack at $19.50 and a four pack at $39.00, with a combo option on the multipacks. The homepage sets out the positioning in its first paragraph: cheese dip as American party food, made from carrots and potatoes but judged on “the flavor and melt”. The company describes itself as woman founded and led and a registered Public Benefit Company. The store runs on Shopify.
Website Design
Orange, cream and black. The colour schemes are built from an orange #ff9e00 and an amber #f6a403 against a cream #ffecd7, with black and white as the remaining grounds. Sections take one scheme each, so panels flip between orange on cream and white on black rather than blending.
Three typefaces with clear jobs. Top level headings and the Add to cart button are set in VTC Carrie, a handwritten marker face. Lower headings switch to PP Editorial New Italic. Body copy is Sofia Pro at medium weight. The result is a deliberate mismatch, casual display type over a neutral text face.
Product shots and set pieces. Imagery alternates single jar packshots on clean grounds with styled scenes, chips and dip on a game night table, fritters, roasted cabbage, and the nutrition panel photographed as an image in its own right.
Shopping Experience
Three SKUs, three ways to buy. The shop menu lists the single jar, the two pack and the four pack as separate entries rather than variants. Flavour is chosen on the product page from Mild Cheddar, Jalapeno Cheddar and Combo, with quantity and a single Add to cart button.
Product pages are structured as accordions. Below the buy box, Ingredients, Pairs With, Tasting Notes and Behind the Brand each open in turn. The ingredients list is printed in full for both flavours, and Pairs With reads as serving instructions rather than marketing copy.
Reviews are the longest section. An Okendo widget carries the aggregate score and review count, the percentage who would recommend, sort controls including Photos and Videos, and a Write a Review link. Each review names the exact product bought.
Brand Storytelling
The name is explained on the product page. A Behind the Brand panel traces House Party to the way American cheese sauce was originally marketed, as a “party fancy” food for “glamorizing vegetables”, which is also where the section headings and the playlist block get their tone.
Claims stated as a strip. A badge row runs made with real vegetables, cholesterol free, top 9 free, alpha gal friendly, no artificial flavors or colors, and a carbon figure per serving. The footer adds Climate Neutral certification for the fulfilment centre.
Notable Features
A recipe archive with dates. The House Kitchen posts dated entries such as Corn Fritter Dippers and Cheesy Skillet Corn Dip, each linking to a full recipe.
Wholesale routed to marketplaces. The menu sends trade buyers to Faire, Pod Foods and Airgoods, lists Good Eggs as another retail route and keeps a separate foodservice line.
A store locator and a Spotify block. Retail stockists are searchable by proximity, and a Set The Mood section links out to branded house party playlists.
