Kittl is one of my favorite design tools. It’s incredibly easy to use, packed with fantastic AI features, and ideal for collaborative art sessions. You can use Kittl to create everything from business logos, to images for print-on-demand products, and social media campaigns.

Plus, Kittl is extremely affordable. Not only is there a generous free plan available for beginners, but even the most feature-packed plans will only cost around $30 per month. Here, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about Kittl’s pricing, so you can choose the right plan for your needs.

  • Free ($0 per month): Ideal for small projects
  • Pro ($15 per month): Great for advanced editing
  • Expert ($30 per month): Fantastic for team projects
  • Business (Custom Pricing): Best for extensive design needs

The right plan for you will depend on your business size, your graphic design needs, and your budget. I’ll review each plan in detail below, but if you’re looking for a quick rundown, here are Kittl’s pricing options side by side.

Is Kittl Good Value for Money?

Kittl earns a mid-level score in terms of value for money in my opinion. On the one hand, it’s a lot more affordable than some more advanced design tools, like Adobe’s software, and it does offer a free plan, which will make it appealing to companies with limited budgets.

However, the free plan is pretty restrictive. You can only work on up to 20 projects in total, and you’ll only get a handful of AI credits, which don’t renew. Plus, you’ll miss out on a lot of premium mock-ups, templates, team workspaces, and other features.

To unlock most of the best features with Kittl, you’ll need at least an Expert plan, for $30 per month. However, Canva for Teams, offers a lot more functionality for the same price.

The Kittl Free Plan – For Testing

Kittl’s free plan is an enticing option for individual users working on small projects. Since you can only create up to 20 projects in total (and only get 20 AI credits), you’ll be limited in what you can do with this subscription. Plus, you’ll only get low-res image export options, which isn’t ideal if you’re going to be using your assets for brand promotion, or print on demand.

Here are the features includes:

  • Unlimited downloads
  • 20 projects
  • 500 mb custom graphics upload
  • 1 challenge submission
  • 20 single-use AI credits
  • AI image generation (Turbo model)
  • AI logos, quotes, and product backgrounds
  • Photo, illustration, texture, and font library

Who Do I Recommend the Free Plan For?

Personally, I’d only recommend considering the free plan if you want a basic idea of what Kittl can do, before you invest in a premium subscription.

The Kittl Pro Plan – For Regular Users

Kittl’s Pro plan, for a reasonable price of just $15 per month gives you a lot more freedom to experiment with the platform and it’s most powerful tools. You’ll still be restricted to just 100 projects, but you can export high-res images and vector files, and leverage 30 AI credits per day.

You’ll also get some exclusive features, like access to “private AI image generation”, Kittl’s AI background remover, and the AI upscaler. This plan removes attribution watermarks from your images too, and gives you full access to all of Kittl’s premium templates.

Unfortunately, you’ll still miss out on high-res mock-ups, team work spaces, and brand kits.

Key features include:

  • All the free plan features
  • 100 projects
  • 10GB custom graphics upload
  • High-res exports
  • 3 challenge submissions
  • 30 AI credits per day
  • Private AI image generation
  • Advanced AI image generation model
  • Personal and commercial licenses
  • Premium templates

Who Do I Recommend the Pro Plan For?

I’d recommend this plan exclusively for single users, with more advanced editing needs.

The Kittl Expert Plan – Great for Profesionals

Available for $30 per month, the Expert plan is likely to be the most attractive option Kittl offers for most businesses in my opinion. It’s the first plan that unlocks access to unlimited projects, and brand kits. Plus, it upgrades your AI credits to 80 per day.

Plus, the Expert plan unlocks high-res premium mock-ups (excellent for print on demand companies), and gives you a decent 100GB of upload space.

Key features include:

  • All the features of the Pro plan
  • 80 AI credits per day
  • Advanced AI features and models
  • All premium templates
  • 100GB upload space
  • Unlimited projects and brand kits
  • High-res premium mock-ups

Who Do I Recommend the Expert Plan For?

The Expert plan is a good option for teams looking to create comprehensive brand assets, such as logos, and templates for social media campaigns.

The Kittl Business Plan – For Large Teams

Finally the Kittl Business plan is the “enterprise-level” option offered by Kittl. Your price depends on the features you need. Overall, this plan is the most flexible of the four, offering support for up to 5 users in one account, and a custom amount of upload space.

Alongside all the features in the Expert plan, the Business plan comes with potentially unlimited AI credits, and access to a range of business add-ons, such as team workspaces, custom brand management, design requests, and advanced 24/7 support.

Key features include:

  • Custom upload space
  • Custom number of AI credits
  • Priority customer support
  • Access to exclusive business add-ons
  • Team collaboration features

Who Do I Recommend the Business Plan For?

This is the best plan for anyone who wants to unify their team with a comprehensive solution for graphic design. If you want to scale your design projects with no limitations, this will be the best plan for you.

Kittl Pricing: Our Recommendation

Kittl is one of the most versatile and popular design platforms available today. It’s great for beginners who want to create a huge range of unique assets, without having to draw on extensive design knowledge.

The AI features are extremely intuitive, and there’s virtually no limit to what you can design with Kittl’s capabilities.

However, to really get the most out of Kittl, I think most users will need at least the “Expert” plan, for $30 per month. Unfortunately, this does mean Kittl offers less value for money than other competitors like Canva.

If you need more AI credits and advanced team collaboration tools, you may even need to consider upgrading to Kittl’s “Business” plan, which could be quite expensive.
