Good Weird

Good Weird is a US colour cosmetics and skincare brand selling cheek tints, lip gloss, moisture sticks, bronzing cream, a caffeine eye cream, blending tools and multi-product bundles. Prices run from $14 for the Balmy Blender sponge to $76.50 for the four-piece Two Minute Face 2.0 bundle. The site states the brand was “made to help you stay vibrant, be colorful, and shine bright, because the world is more beautiful if we all stay a little weird”. Built on Shopify.

Website Design

Black on white, colour from the products. The theme sets Matter at 14px in black on a plain white body, and the only interface colour is a pink pair, #ff5dc1 on highlighted menu items and #f44591 on navigation hover. Everything chromatic comes from packaging and photography rather than the layout.

Headings in tight uppercase. Display type is ObviouslyFav set in caps at 660 weight on a 100% line height, so headings sit as compact blocks at 34px against much smaller body copy.

Two bars above the fold. A scrolling announcement bar carries “Free Balmy Blender with Every Order. Shop Now.” and a second line states free shipping over $35, ahead of a slider hero and a four-across product grid.

Shopping Experience

Shade choice happens on the grid. Cards carry a Choose Shade swatch row with the names spelled out, Ube (soft lilac pink), Dragonfruit (soft red), Mango (peachy pink), Guava (dusty rose), next to an Add to Cart button. Selection and purchase both complete without opening a product page.

Ratings sit on the card. Okendo star averages and review counts print under each title, so the listing shows 4.8 from 81 reviews on Cold Brew Undereye beside 4.9 from 50 on Back from Vacay.

Product pages stack collapsible panels. What it Is, Key Ingredients, a full ingredient list, Sustainability impact and a numbered How to Use sit under the buy box.

A progress line drives the cart. The drawer opens with “$35 away from free shipping” and counts down as items are added, with a free Balmy Blender attached to every order as a zero-priced line.

Brand Storytelling

Taglines carry the voice. Each card gets one line: “One sponge, full face, done.”, “Like a shot of espresso, for your eyes.”, “For when its 7:05 and you have plans at 7:00.”

Customers are the weirdos. The review block on product pages is titled What Weirdos Are Saying, the footer reads FOLLOW US @GOODWEIRD, and support runs through sup@goodweird.com.

Speed is the argument. Two bundles are named The Two Minute Face and The Two Minute Face 2.0, framing the range as a routine measured in minutes rather than steps.

Notable Features

A full accessibility panel. A launcher opens controls for font size, contrast, saturation, line height, letter spacing, text alignment, cursor size, stop animations and hide images, plus an eleven-language list.

Subscriptions in the buy box. Selling plans run through the product page, and My Subscription sits in the footer Shop column.

Leaping Bunny certification. The mark appears in the footer next to the social row and the newsletter offer of 15% off a first purchase.
