Website Design

Greyscale with a single mint. The theme tokens define a five-step brand grey from #1a1a1a to #808080 over white, with almost no chromatic colour. The exception is a pale mint used for primary button fills, link underlines and focus rings on dark grounds.

One typeface throughout. Polymath is assigned to every role the theme exposes: headings, body, navigation, buttons, captions, overlines, quotes and form fields. Hierarchy is carried by size, weight and spacing alone.

A two-axis menu. The mega menu splits into product categories on one side and collection names on the other, so a shopper can enter by shoe type or by line. Search results are pre-segmented into Pages, Articles, Collections and Products.

Shopping Experience

Size selection inside the listing. Each card on a category page expands to a size run with an Add to cart button, so a purchase can complete without leaving the grid. A chart mapping Europe, FR, US, UK, Japan and China opens from the same place.

Season codes as merchandising labels. Cards are tagged FW26, SS26, FW25 or Seasonless SV alongside New In and colour names. Grids page in batches under a counter reading “Viewing 11 of 27” with a Load more control rather than numbered pages.

Composition stated in full. Product pages give external, internal and sole composition as percentages, heel height in millimetres, country of origin and the SKU, followed by a long material-specific care note. Sizes are labelled “Select size (EU)” with half sizes shown as a plus.

Wishlist and a notify path beside the cart. Where a size is unavailable the page offers Notify me when available, with Add to Wishlist under both buttons. The cart states the total as VAT included.

Brand Storytelling

Heritage handled as a separate destination. Italian Craftsmanship, Heritage and Sustainability are linked from the homepage and footer rather than woven through product copy, keeping the shop pages transactional.

Category pages carry the editorial. Long-form text sits below each grid. The pumps page opens “Iconic. Classic. Gorgeous.” and works through heel heights and materials, cross-linking slingbacks and the bridal collection.

Notable Features

A market switcher with an explicit warning. Shoppers pick from more than sixty countries and a language, with a note that cart contents are not retained across a change of destination.

Duties absorbed into the price. Shipping copy states that UPS handles all deliveries, that the fee does not change with order size, and that taxes and duties are included.

Boutique locator and phone support. Find a boutique sits in the header, and product pages publish a customer service phone number and email address.
