Shopware Store external link icon

The Shopware Extension Store is shopware AG’s official marketplace for its own ecommerce platform, selling apps, integrations and themes that merchants install into a Shopware 6 or Shopware 5 shop. The catalogue is organised by job rather than product type: payment, shipping, ERP connectors, marketing automation, search, analytics and storefront design. Buyers are shop operators and their agencies, and the store itself runs on Shopware.

Website Design

One blue against a navy grey. The interface is white with a single brand blue, #0870FF, on links, badges and the buy button. Body text sits at #33445B and headlines at #1C2431, so the blue is the only saturated colour on most screens.

Poppins for headings, Inter for the rest. Both are set at modest sizes, which keeps long lists of extension names legible on pages that stack dozens of cards against #D1DAE5 borders.

Navigation carries the weight. Extensions, Integrations and Themes each open a full width flyout exposing the whole taxonomy at once, from Shipping provider and Checkout / Cart process down to AI Tools and B2B extensions.

Shopping Experience

Filters built around compatibility. The sidebar filters on Shopware Version, Cloud Compatible, Free, Includes Support and Recommended by Shopware, plus rating, price and manufacturer, with the result count stated above the grid.

Sorting made for a software catalogue. The options are Recommendation, Price ascending, Price descending, Topseller, Rating and Release date. Cards show the partner, a one line summary, a star rating with review count and a monthly price, or Free.

Product pages front the numbers. An extension opens with its rating out of five, review count and download total, then a gallery whose videos stay behind a cookie gate until the visitor presses Load video.

Terms stated under the buy box. Beneath the quantity field and Add to cart sit the compatible version range, a note that updates are included during the subscription, and a line confirming support comes from the Extension Partner.

Brand Storytelling

Partner tier is the ranking system. Listings label sellers Premium Extension, Gold, Bronze, Technology Partner or Premium Extension Partner, and those badges drive placement alongside relevance.

Paid placement is declared on the page. Promoted rows carry the line “Sponsored extensions These extensions are highlighted or prioritized due to a marketing agreement between the partners and Shopware”, set directly above the products it applies to.

Manufacturer profiles do much of the selling. Each partner has a page of download totals, review counts and award mentions, so persuasion happens at company level as much as per extension.

Notable Features

A shop switcher that clears the cart. Moving between the Shopware 6 and 5 catalogues raises a confirmation reading “Are you sure you want to change the shop? All extensions will be removed from your cart.”

Curated shelves beside the category tree. Start with Shopware, New Extensions covering the last 30 days, and Coming soon for extensions with a set release date sit in the same menus as the taxonomy.

Prices net of tax, in two languages. A footnote states all prices are quoted net of the statutory value added tax, and a banner offers the German version of any page.
