Ohsnap sells magnetic phone accessories built around MagSafe: grips, stands, car and wall mounts, Qi2 chargers and power banks, cases and screen protectors, plus a gaming line led by the MCON transforming controller. It sells to people who already own a MagSafe phone and want the parts to stack, and states its position in the page title: “Phone Grips & Accessories That Don’t Suck.” Built on Shopify.
Website Design
Near-black on white. The theme defines one near-black for text, buttons and accents, white as the base, and two light greys for panel separation. Colour arrives from product photography and swatches, not from the interface.
Pragmatica, with an extended bold for display. Body copy sits in Pragmatica while headline blocks switch to a wide extended bold cut, so section titles read as a different voice from the running text without introducing a second family.
Marquees between the sections. Horizontal scrolling bands repeat the brand lines with emoji, “All Form, All Function” and “Unlock the Power in Your Pocket” among them. They divide the category grid, the bestseller row and the About block.
Shopping Experience
A mega menu organised by job. Navigation splits into Grip, Mount, Charge, Protect and Snapstuff, each entry pairing a product name with a one-line function such as “Auto Aligning, Magnetic Car Mount”. Gaming and Explore columns sit alongside, and a Trending searches list runs numbered from 01 to 06.
Bundles built on the product page. Under the colour swatches the Snap Grip page offers stacked options: grip only, grip plus car mount, grip plus car mount and charger, grip plus either stand. Each carries its own discount, 10 or 15 percent, so the upsell is a configuration choice rather than a separate cross-sell row.
Colour as the main variant axis. Swatches are grouped into a current phone set and “the regulars”, with around twenty named finishes including Diet Lime, Hazmat Honey, Gator Fade and Cult Lavender. Colours awaiting stock are labelled as pre-order with the expected month and a note that the card is charged now.
Policy blocks under the buy box. Free shipping over $79, a one year warranty covering repair, replacement or store credit within 30 days, and a product-specific FAQ answering compatibility, returns and the exact dimensions of the part.
Brand Storytelling
Copy written to sound spoken. The About block opens by conceding that “most phone accessories are cheap, ugly, or just don’t work well together”, and headings follow the same register, from “POCKET POWER” to “FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS.”
Reviews carried site-wide. Okendo ratings appear on product cards and in the footer, which states 4.8 out of 5 across more than 50,000 reviews. The Snap Grip page alone lists 5,810 with a full star distribution and a questions tab.
Notable Features
An Open Box line. Refurbished versions of the grip, stand, wallet, charger, car mount and MCON are sold as separate listings at lower prices.
Spare parts on sale. Replacement adhesives and grip rings are listed at $2 to $3, so a worn part can be replaced without rebuying the product.
Cart drawer that sells. The drawer carries a swipeable “Complete Your Setup” row with prices and discount badges above the subtotal.
