Penarosa Watches external link icon

Penarosa sells customizable women’s watches assembled from four components, case, dial, decor ring and strap, from a single Italian workshop in Laion, South Tyrol. The site pitches itself as “Premium High-Fashion Watches for the most Fashionable wrists,” aimed at women dressing for evening and event wear. Navigation runs through Brand Experience, an E-Boutique and an Atelier section plus a dedicated 360 degree personalization tool, with the storefront switching between English, German and Italian.

Website Design

A black stage for the product. The homepage opens on a full bleed black hero with a single spotlit watch and color swatches for case, dial and strap arranged around it, so the product itself, not a lifestyle shot, is the first thing a visitor sees.

Pastel panels between photography. Below the hero, blush pink and peach color blocks alternate with saturated portrait photography, each panel carrying a short heading, Brand Experience or Shop, and one button.

Script logo, two supporting typefaces. The Penarosa wordmark is set in a cursive script, while page copy runs on Neue Haas Unica for body text with Optima LT loaded for headings, a pairing that reads as fashion rather than technical.

Shopping Experience

Customization built into the hero. Rather than a separate configurator page, the homepage itself carries clickable case, dial and strap swatches around the hero watch image, previewing the modular build before a shopper reaches the shop.

A named 3D personalization tool. A macro shot of a watch case introduces 360 Personalization, described on page as letting a shopper “create your perfect watch and enjoy an exceptional 3D product experience in stunning 360 View,” with its own Start button.

Checklist copy instead of a product grid on the homepage. The Shop panel skips thumbnails for three yes-no lines, “Love to be fashionable?”, “Love to feel chic?”, “Love to go premium?”, each followed by a check mark, before a single Shop Now button hands off to the boutique.

Brand Storytelling

An Italian workshop address, stated plainly. The footer lists Penarosa Srls at Via Bersaglio 7, 39040 Laion, Italy, alongside a VAT number, grounding the high fashion pitch in a specific, small manufacturing address rather than a vague brand story.

Lifestyle photography carries the tone. Watches appear on wrists in editorial settings, a red blazer cuff, a yellow lit close portrait, an ankle beside a heeled shoe, rather than on plain product backgrounds, positioning the watch as a fashion accessory first.

An award badge left visible. A vertical “Site of the Day” badge sits fixed against the hero, a third party design award callout kept on the live page rather than moved to a press section.

Notable Features

A newsletter framed as a lifestyle subscription. The signup panel asks “Would you like that we earn your trust gradually with monthly updates about the Penarosa Lifestyle?” rather than offering a discount code.

Five social channels linked from the footer. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube icons sit beside the newsletter form and again in the footer, next to Returns, Shipping, Payment and Users Manual links.
