Rebecca Minkoff sells handbags, totes, crossbody bags and small leather accessories built around an accessible-luxury position, with core bag styles priced roughly between 150 and 300 dollars. The site runs on Shopify with a top nav of New Now, Shop By, Handbags, Clothing, Shoes, Accessories, Our Story and Sale, plus a running banner offering a discount for text-list signups. At the time of this review the store is mid an End of Summer Sale with markdowns of up to 30 percent.

Website Design

Black, white and leather tones. The interface runs black text on a white ground, with color carried almost entirely by the merchandise: burnt orange, red and green bags photographed against plain grey studio backdrops. The wordmark sits left-aligned in spaced-out capitals, repeated in the footer.

A full-bleed lifestyle banner. The homepage opens with a wide desert-rock photograph of a model in white linen carrying an orange tote, overlaid with white sale copy. It is the one moment of environmental photography; everything below reverts to plain studio shots on grey.

Dense, badge-heavy grids. Category pages such as Bright Colors show a four-column grid where most items carry a Best Seller or New badge in the top corner, with the price set directly under each product name.

Shopping Experience

Swatches before sizes. Product pages lead with a stacked thumbnail rail and a large image, then color swatches, an Add to Bag button and a purple Buy with Shop button, with four interest-free installments quoted through Shop Pay.

Accordions carry the detail. Below the buy box, Description, Details and Care, and Shipping and Returns collapse into accordions rather than staying open, keeping the page short.

A user-generated closing strip. Product pages end with a row titled Shop What Our Community Is Loving, showing customer photos wearing the bags, ahead of a You May Also Like carousel and a Write a Review prompt.

Multi-method checkout. Checkout offers Shop, PayPal and Google Pay as express options above a standard card form, with Shop Pay installments, PayPal, Afterpay and Klarna repeated as line-item payment choices, and a right-hand summary showing subtotal, shipping and total.

Brand Storytelling

A podcast in the footer. Alongside Our Story, the Join RM footer column lists Text Us, Gift Cards and the RM Superwomen Podcast, folding audio content into the same navigation as shopping links.

Supply chain disclosure as a legal link. The Legal column pairs a standard Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions with a Supply Chain Disclosure link, a specific transparency commitment.

Notable Features

Text-list incentive. The top banner offers a discount for joining the SMS list rather than email, run persistently across the site rather than as a one-time popup.

Four payment paths at checkout. Shoppers can split payment through Shop Pay installments, or choose Afterpay or Klarna instead of a single card charge, alongside standard PayPal and Google Pay.

Community photography as social proof. Rather than relying on star ratings alone, product pages surface a horizontal strip of customer-submitted outfit photos ahead of the standard review prompt.
