Tusk is a New York leather goods brand selling women’s bags, small leather goods and men’s accessories, made from full-grain Italian leather. The footer states the brand has been “designing, producing and shipping the highest quality products to customers” since 1993, with a retail store on West 20th Street in Manhattan. The storefront runs on Shopify.
Website Design
A serif wordmark over a plain sans system. The TUSK logo is set in a serif face, while navigation, filters and body copy run in Montserrat, a plain grotesque sans, keeping the mark as the one decorative element on the page.
Full-bleed lifestyle photography as section breaks. A wide photo of a model on a rocky coastline opens the New Arrivals page, and similar outdoor photography reappears lower on the site to break up product grids and copy blocks.
Product color as the palette, not a brand color. Rather than a fixed accent, pages stay white and let the bags carry the color, red, sage, cognac, lavender and black colorways sit side by side in the same grid.
Shopping Experience
A faceted sidebar filter. The category page filters by Collection, Product Type (Cross Body Bag, Hobo Bag, Large, Medium and Small Wallet, Satchel, Tote), color swatch, and Leather Type (Pebble, Suede), each option carrying an item count.
One style, many colorways. The Anaya Zip Top Tote alone appears in more than eight colors across the grid, with a small swatch dot under the price on both the listing and the product page.
A four-accordion product page. Below the price and an “Add to cart” and purple “Buy with shop” button pair, a “Pickup available at Tusk HQ” line sits above four collapsed sections: Description, Details, Dimensions, and Materials & Care.
Reviews and cross-sell close the page. An eight-item “You may also like” grid sits above a star-rated Product Reviews section with a “Write a review” button.
Brand Storytelling
A three-line manufacturing claim. “Designs That Go The Extra Mile” leads into three stacked lines, thoughtfully designed, ethically sourced, handmade in our family owned workshop, each separated by a small icon.
A dedicated leather-sourcing panel. Headed “The One Percent Of The One Percent,” the copy describes leather that “develops a beautiful patina that lasts a lifetime,” beside three outdoor photographs of the bags.
A sustainability line in the footer. The About Us column states Tusk sources materials “not just for our customers, but for the earth, too,” followed by the founding year and the New York store’s full address.
Notable Features
Store pickup alongside shipping. The product page offers in-store pickup at Tusk HQ as an alternative to delivery, noted directly under the buy buttons rather than on a separate policy page.
Sold-out flags left visible in the grid. Some colorways carry a black “Sold Out” tag in the corner instead of being removed from the listing, so out-of-stock options stay part of the browsing view.
A four-column footer anchored by a real address. About Us, Customer Service, More About Us and Newsletter columns close the site, with the West 20th Street store address printed under About Us.
