Amuse Society

A love for the ocean and bohemian jet-set spirit launched Mandy Fry into a visionary career with leading surf labels before carving her own path and cofounding Amuse Society in 2014. Amuse is an archetype of beach chic – a ready-to-wear collection with rock ’n’ roll vibes that blends seamlessly with beach knits and bikinis.

Queen Bee Maternity

Queen Bee is an Australian online retailer of maternity and nursing wear, selling dresses, tops and loungewear designed for pregnancy, breastfeeding and postpartum recovery. The catalogue includes an own label, Floressa, alongside stocked brands such as Trimester+ and Lait & Co. The live site blocks automated access, so this description is drawn from the gallery screenshots below, whose footer capture reads “2005 – 2026” and “21 years,” matching the current year.

Website Design

Blush pink over white. Sale banners and the footer run in a dusty rose tone, set against white product grounds, with a honeycomb pattern used as a repeating background motif that echoes the Queen Bee name.

A cursive logotype against plain body text. The Queen Bee wordmark is set in a flowing script, contrasting with a plain sans-serif used for navigation, product names and body copy throughout the shop pages.

Lifestyle photography on outdoor and studio grounds. Dresses are shown on pregnant models in both plain studio settings and outdoor locations, against foliage or textured walls, rather than in flat product-only shots.

Shopping Experience

Category-filtered browsing. The maternity dresses page offers left-hand filters for category, colour, size and price, with 100 products shown across that listing alone in the captured page.

Nursing-specific product detail. The captured product page, a Floressa Olivia Nursing Tank Dress at AUD75.27, lists nursing-specific features directly in the description, including a “cross-over neckline with rose gold clip fastening” and “flattering side ruching.”

A four-step checkout with a loyalty prompt. Checkout runs Login/Email, Shipping & Payment, then Confirmation, with PayPal, card and Afterpay offered as payment methods and GST broken out separately in the order summary.

A review prompt on unreviewed products. The captured product page carries a “no one has reviewed this product yet, be the first” prompt with a direct write-a-review link, built into the page rather than a separate reviews tab.

Brand Storytelling

Twenty-one years stated as a trust marker. The footer marks “21 years, 2005 – 2026,” using tenure rather than founder narrative to establish credibility.

“Join Our Hive” as the loyalty framing. Email sign-up and loyalty perks are grouped under a bee-themed name, carrying the Queen Bee motif into the footer rather than treating it as a generic newsletter box.

Notable Features

Afterpay integrated at both product and cart level. Buy now, pay later is flagged on the product page price and offered again as a full payment option at checkout.

Free shipping over AUD75. The threshold repeats in a top announcement bar across product, collection and checkout pages rather than appearing only at cart.

Press coverage and influencer collaborations given their own footer links. Alongside Our Story and Our Blog, the About Queen Bee footer column lists Press Coverage and Influencer Collaborations as standing pages, rather than folding either into a single about section.
