Snow Peak USA sells Japanese designed camping gear, campsite furniture and outdoor apparel, including the modular IGT Camp Kitchen system, to campers who want “heirloom quality gear” over disposable alternatives. The seven item nav, New & Featured, Tents & Shelters, Campsite Living, Camp Cooking, Apparel, Experiences and Journal, sits above a 47 product Bestsellers grid, and the brand backs its 60 year history with company owned stores in Portland, Seattle and Brooklyn plus its own Takibi restaurant and Campfield campground.

Website Design

Inter, set small, throughout. Body copy, navigation and product cards all run on the Inter sans serif, giving the site one consistent typographic voice rather than a separate display face for headings.

A rust red mark against near black. The brand accent is a burnt rust red used sparingly for sale tags and links, set against near black text on an off white ground, a muted, outdoors leaning palette rather than a bright one.

Wide hero photography, then a dense grid. The homepage opens on a full width photograph of a tent and shelter setup in a forest clearing, then drops straight into a four column product grid with no further storytelling before the shop begins.

Shopping Experience

A filtered, four column catalogue. The Bestsellers grid filters by price, colour swatch and capacity, and every card shows a star rating with a review count, a Sold Out label or a Save percentage where relevant.

A related products rail on every item. A product page such as the Amenity Dome Medium in Ivory pairs full bleed lifestyle photography with a Related Products sidebar, a pickup availability note, and a Lifetime Guarantee badge alongside free shipping and returns icons.

Three way express checkout. Shop Pay, PayPal and Google Pay sit above a manual card form, with PayPal and Klarna offered again as alternate payment methods, and a black Pay now button closes the order in USD.

Brand Storytelling

Heritage stated as a number. The homepage tagline credits 60 years of craftsmanship and modular design, tying the company’s age directly to its durability claim rather than a separate history page.

The brand extends past the product. Footer links to Snow Peak Campfield and Our History sit next to Careers and Affiliates, and the company positions its restaurant and campground as part of the same outdoor life its gear is sold for.

Notable Features

A points based loyalty program. Customers can log in or sign up to earn and redeem points at checkout, with the offer repeated on the account and checkout screens.

Native apps and physical stores. The footer links to Google Play and App Store downloads and lists three named store locations, extending the brand beyond the Shopify storefront itself.

A gift card sits in the main shop nav. Rather than tucking gifting into a help page, Gift Card appears as its own entry in the Shop column alongside New Arrivals, Tents & Shelters and Camp Cooking, treating it as a standard product line.
