Gunsberg Merch

Gunsberg Merch is the merchandise shop attached to Original Gingerale, an Indian soft drink label, and it sells four items: caps, A3 posters, a set of three double sided coasters and T-shirts. Prices run from 150 to 400 rupees, shipping covers all of India, and orders above 499 rupees ship free. The shop serves the drink brand’s own following rather than a general apparel buyer, and the range is framed as a limited run. It is built on Shopify with a bespoke single page theme, credited in the footer to Blimp.agency for design and CueBlocks for development.

Website Design

One page holds the entire shop. There is no collection grid and no product template. The four items each take a full height panel in a single scroll, so browsing and buying happen in one document.

Drawn rather than photographed. Illustration is inline vector work: a deer sigil, bottle silhouettes, a horse, wave shaped section dividers and hand drawn frames. Product art drops into these scenes instead of sitting on a plain ground.

Playfair Display over Roboto, on blush and black. Product names and the large price numerals use a high contrast serif, while supporting copy and buttons fall to Roboto. Panels alternate black and white grounds with a blush pink field, and a muted brass tone handles rules, ornament and the polygon outlines.

Shopping Experience

Four items, four prices, no navigation. The header carries only the brand mark and a cart counter. Each panel states the product name and price together: caps at 350, posters at 150, coasters at 300 for a set of three and T-shirts at 400.

Buying happens in an overlay. Every panel ends with a grab it button that opens a pre order popup carrying the product title, price and a quantity field, so the shopper never leaves the page to add to cart.

Variants as clickable shapes. The T-shirt panel offers black, peach and white as polygon swatches that swap the garment shown. The cap panel uses a four thumbnail viewer against a faceted polygon background.

A conventional Shopify cart behind it. The cart opens as a drawer from the header, and the separate cart page is standard Shopify down to its empty state message. A banner near the top states free shipping above an order of 499 and shipping all across India.

Brand Storytelling

An invented town supplies the iconography. The coaster panel explains that the pieces carry the deer sigil representing the town of Gunsberg, and that deer recurs as the favicon and the header mark.

Merchandise labelled as an edition. The page titles itself as 2018 merchandise for Gunsberg, posters are described as limited editions and the T-shirt block is stamped Limited Edition, framing the range as a drop rather than a permanent catalogue.

Notable Features

Polygon geometry as a house motif. Faceted shapes frame thumbnails, swatches and price badges, and the coaster copy leans on the same idea by calling the pieces dodec sided.

No indexable product URLs. Because all four products live at the root, the shop has no individual product pages for search or for sharing a single item.
