Thomas Dean

Thomas Dean & Co. has set the modern standard for classic American style, earning a fan base that demographically spans a broad spectrum. The market has responded, as their fans, customers and collectors have purchased more than five million shirts since the company’s inception in 2007.

bebe

bebe sells contemporary women’s fashion built around body-conscious bandage dresses, alongside tops, bottoms, denim, jackets, jumpsuits, activewear, shoes and logo accessories, sized XXS through XXL. The current dresses catalog runs a dedicated Betty Boop sub-collection alongside the core range. Sale messaging on the homepage reads “New Season. New Obsessions” with 30 percent off select looks and free shipping over $150.

Website Design

Black header, white catalog. A black top bar and navigation frame a white product grid, so the wordmark logo and the “sale” tab in red are the only fixed color notes above an otherwise neutral shopping surface.

Filterable by type, size and color. The New Women’s Dresses page carries a left sidebar with checkboxes for dress type, size (XXS through XXL) and a row of color swatches (black, blue, red, gold, green, gray), stacked above a four-column product grid.

Cart.com as the seller of record. A line in the checkout footer discloses that “products sold through this website are sold by Cart.com, the seller of record,” placing the storefront on a managed commerce platform rather than an in-house build.

Shopping Experience

Sale price shown inline, not struck through. Discounted dresses carry a red “Enjoy 30% off, priced as marked” label under the price rather than a crossed-out original price, so the discount reads as already applied.

A styled outfit suggestion on the product page. Below the Add to Cart button, a “Style It With” module pairs the dress with a matching shoe and a second dress, each with its own Add to Cart button.

Three tabs below the fold. “You May Also Like,” “Best Sellers” and “Recently Viewed” sit as switchable tabs above a shared product carousel on every product page.

A returns upsell at checkout. The order summary offers “Pay now to unlock free returns” for $4.98 as an optional line item, positioned above the discount code field and a “Shop Trending Products” carousel inside the cart panel.

Brand Storytelling

No about or history copy on the storefront. The homepage and category pages lead with product and promotion; there is no founder note or brand history section in the pages reviewed.

#bebebabe as the community angle. A photo grid of customer-submitted outfit shots, tagged #bebebabe, runs at the bottom of product pages, standing in for testimonial or lifestyle copy.

Notable Features

A loyalty program banner in the footer. A black “Welcome to Clubbebe” band tops the footer, promising “Earn Points. Be Rewarded. It’s Free” with a Join Now link, ahead of a separate 20 percent first-order email signup.

Text-message opt-in at checkout. Alongside the email field, checkout offers a mobile number field for SMS offers, with full carrier-charge and consent language spelled out beneath it.

International customer service links. The footer’s Customer Service column separates Shipping, Returns and Size Guide from a distinct International link, alongside Accessibility Statement and Licensing and Wholesale entries in the Info column.
