Reem Acra
Reem Acra is a New York fashion house selling ready-to-wear, bridal and accessories, with an atelier on Fifth Avenue and a shop banner reading “HAND CRAFTED in New York City”. The site holds a season-by-season archive of runway collections, running from Resort 2027 back through Fall 2026, Pre-Fall 2026, Spring 2026 and Resort 2026, alongside five named bridal collections. A small direct-purchase range sits behind the Shop link, while everything else routes to an appointment. Built on Shopify.
Website Design
White ground, grey type, taupe accent. The palette is deliberately thin: white and a light grey for backgrounds, a mid grey for body text and outline buttons, and one warm taupe as the only accent. Colour is left almost entirely to the collection photography.
Open Sans and Quicksand. Body copy is set in a self-hosted Open Sans, with Quicksand used as a secondary register. Neither face competes with the imagery, and headings stay close to body weight.
A stack of image-and-text blocks. The homepage repeats one section type twelve times over: a full collection image paired with a title, several paragraphs of collection notes and a Discover link. Navigation mirrors it exactly, with Ready to Wear and Bridal each expanding into a list of seasons.
Shopping Experience
Two modes inside one store. Collection pages present runway looks as products, numbered Look 1 upward, each marked Sold out and carrying a Book an Appointment button in place of a price. Only the Shop collection is transactional.
Sixteen items, priced high. The shop holds sixteen pieces between 1,195 and 7,995 US dollars, covering gowns, kaftans, separates and blouse-and-skirt sets, with crystal headpieces and embroidered headbands starting at 200.
Pre-order stated in the product name. Several gowns carry their delivery window in the title itself, including a twelve-week lead time, rather than surfacing it only at checkout.
Appointment beside Add to cart. The product page pairs size and colour selectors and a quantity stepper with Add to cart, then places an appointment button directly beneath, so the buy box supports both paths. Details collapse into two short lines, a construction note and the fabric.
Brand Storytelling
Collections carry essays. Every season gets a named theme and several paragraphs of notes, among them Resort 2027 as “Extraordinary Moments Around the World”, Fall 2026 as “After Midnight” and Pre-Fall 2026 as “The Silk Road”.
The designer speaks in the copy. Quotes are attributed directly, including “Glamour is confidence made visible,” says Acra, and the Pre-Fall notes tie the jacquards to the designer’s Lebanese heritage.
A recurring emblem. The house bird motif is described as evolving into a phoenix across collections, giving the written material a thread that carries between seasons.
Notable Features
Appointments as a first-class page. The appointments page lists the atelier address, a phone extension and separate email routes for atelier, couture and virtual consultations, with a waiting list noted for full dates.
Events and trunk shows. A dedicated Events page and a Trunk Shows footer link serve the bridal side of the business.
The RA-List. The newsletter is named rather than generic, framed as “exclusive offers and VIP perks”.
